Growing Intersection Between Tech and Business
Alexandra Munroe: Want to know about lane? Well, lane is a virtual city based on increasing Africa representation in global MBA programs and aims politically inclusive of Africa. You might also want to know how Northeastern MBA prepares students to work in a digital convergent world. You need to robot proof the students, that is; offer humanics education which helps them utilize their mindsets creatively with mental elasticity to invent and create something important in the society
When we talk about humanics, we talk about the integration of human technological and data literacy. We focus on three interdisciplinary learning literacies by teaching technological trends and the value of those things in the classroom through experiential opportunities. We also provide hands-on experiences with data and digital tools that students will use in modern business. Apart from those two interdisciplinary learning literacies, we also create opportunities to explore what makes humans unique.
We have a program known as co-op and this is experiential learning. When we talk about experiential learning and humanics, we talk about two major frameworks based on our curriculum. We have two distinct options in the full-term MBA, the traditional full-time MBA and an MBA x option.
What can make our students stand out from the bunch and be ready to work successfully in the business world today?
They need to have more than one co-competency and a global perspective due to the global environment we work in.
We also have non-traditional MBA program having two concentrations both in business. Students should be allowed to have the skills important to a business career. Besides that, we offer business management which helps students in terms of updating their resumes or fine-tuning their interview skills or networking skills. It also brings out management in different panels from different industries and companies.
We pair our students each with a career advisor from the beginning of the program. This helps them when it comes to placement on corporate residency. The corporate residency lasts about six months. Talking about the corporate residency or experiential education, we offer a 3, 6 or 12-month corporate residency.
We got some corporate partners such as Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care.
The reason for focusing on the MBA program is because it is the first and most pertinent to MBA x Computer Science. Partnering with the college of computer science, we offer artificial intelligence, cyber security, data science and software development.
Why use our program?
This is because it is flexible and unique in the sense that it is the only offering with prerequisites and life sciences through our colleges where we offer an MBA biotechnology concentration and bioinformatics concentration. Those two offers do not require prerequisites enabling you to dive right into these concentrations.
When talking about admission and what we expect from an applicant, we talk about something with strong academic ability and work experience
